It´s Morena, written by Julián Plaza, a well known bandoneonist in the Orchestras of Miguel Caló, Osvaldo Pugliese, and Sexteto Tango.

The classical version was published 1965 on "El Gran Osvaldo"
A more recent version was published by Esteban Morgado in 2007.

The song at the end of the movie? Around 11:00 and on.

    Thanks.
And now the title of the movie makes sense, by the way.

Hey all! Does anyone have or know of a Jose Garcia song that sounds like Christmas in the middle of it? It is either a tango or a vals.

I asked a DJ at Fulgor a few months back, but he was mean to me and just said, "Jose Garcia" I think he wanted to keep his secrets.

What reminded you of Christmas? Perhaps you can browse Garcia´s works at tangoinfo and YT. It´s not that broad.

Hi. Bit of a strange one this... I'm desperately trying to find a video on Youtube. It's an awesome modernish tango song - the video itself starts with an old guy smoking in a bar/club, then it's a montage of different tango videos to the same song, and it finishes with the old man wistfully looking at an old black and white photograph of a girl. Anyone got any ideas?

Can you identify the following tune? A friend claims to have heard it in milongas.
Unfortunately, the forum does not allow me to post its link,
but you can google "unknown tango theme whatisthis" to find it in youtube, in Jorge Alonso's channel.
    Thanks

This is the tune that agnoliM asks about:

It's familiar and sounds to me like a slower version of "Las Campanas" recorded by Miguel Caló with Alberto Morel

    Any other ideas?
